Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Handle customer service inquiries and complaints from Japan-based customers through multiple channels - phone calls, email, and live chat
Provide support for both English and Japanese customer queues with equal proficiency
Deliver professional responses using polite Japanese (Keigo) in both speaking and written communication
Report and escalate issues to the client in English when required
Manage customer interactions with a strong customer-centered mindset
Operate efficiently within 24-hour operations across rotating shift schedules
Utilize Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools effectively for daily tasks
Maintain professional demeanor aligned with Japanese business standards and international corporate etiquette

Job Requirements:

Native or fluent level Japanese proficiency (speaking, reading, writing)
Daily conversation level English or higher
Mastery of professional Keigo (polite Japanese) in both spoken and written forms
Strong understanding of Japanese business manner and professional conduct
Solid grasp of interpersonal skills in international business environments
Customer-centered approach and mindset
Comfortable with IT systems and devices including Google Platform and Microsoft Office
Fast typing ability and proficiency with keyboard shortcuts
Ability to complete Japanese typing test (10fastfingers.com typing-test/japanese)
Flexibility to work 24-hour rotational shifts including Mon-Sun schedules
Willingness to accept shift assignments determined by management
