Job Description
- Responsible for developing, designing, analyzing and optimizing product vision systems and optics for industrial imaging and automated inspection
Translate customer's requirement into design specification, evaluate design feasibility and provide
technical expertise to exceed customer expectations
Responsible for optical product assembly and testing and buyoff
- Implement product and process improvement
Coordinate design phases, transfer and project scheduling
- Perform proper documentation related to optical module
- Master on machine operation and working principal
- Lead root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting for complex issues in RD stage and mass production stage
- Guide & coach development engineers and ensure knowledge sharing
- Responsible for new optical module design independently and review junior engineer’s design
Responsible for evaluation and generate analysis report independently and review junior
engineer’s report
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure
- Bachelor's degree in Optics engineering or related
At least 4 years of relevant working experience is preferred
Strong in optical path design, lens material selection, and assembly process
- Rich experience in modeling and simulation
- Familiar with common optical components and testing instruments
- Innovative, creative, and hardworking
- Strong technical leadership, analytical & problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive thinking and willing to provide extended support to customers
- Enjoy learning new things and willing to accept new challenges
- Required hands-on experiences on design & develop semiconductor equipment.
- Good project management skills
