Japanese Teacher (Part time)

• Deliver Instruction
  • Teach Japanese language classes (beginner to advanced) following the designated curriculum.
  • Prepare lesson plans, materials, and activities for each session.
• Assess & Support Students
  • Conduct quizzes, tests, and assignments to evaluate progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback and maintain attendance/grades.
• Foster Cultural Awareness
  • Integrate Japanese culture (customs, media, traditions) into lessons to enhance engagement.
• Manage Classroom & Communication
  • Create a positive, interactive learning environment.
  • Coordinate with academic staff and update parents/guardians as needed.

Job Requirements

• Language: Native or near-native Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years teaching Japanese as a foreign language.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant teaching certification preferred.
• Availability: Flexible for evening/weekend classes (in-person, online, or hybrid).
