Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Accounting and Finance (60%)
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), journal entries, and inventory records with precision and accuracy
  • Support monthly and year-end accounts closing processes to ensure timely financial reporting
  • Track daily collections and prepare payments accurately and on time to maintain cash flow
  • Prepare monthly aging reports and proactively follow up with customers on outstanding payments
  • Verify and process employees' bi-monthly expense claims in accordance with company policies
  • Prepare Service Tax, Withholding Tax, and E-Invoice submissions to meet all statutory requirements
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of all financial documents
  • Prepare supporting documentation for audits and tax filings to support compliance activities
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, insurance providers, company secretary, and government authorities on finance-related matters

Administration (40%)
  • Prepare and submit documents for visa, Employment Pass applications, business licences, premises licences, and other statutory requirements
  • Coordinate with IT vendors to ensure office systems, equipment, and technical support are functioning optimally
  • Partner with HR vendors on employee onboarding and company events to support organizational growth
  • Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships to create a productive work environment
  • Coordinate company vehicle servicing, travel arrangements, and hotel bookings for seamless operations
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support business needs

Job Requirements:
  • LCCI certification, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in accounting and finance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Fluency in English and Malay (spoken and written)
