Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
•Investigate urgent and critical incidents with empathy and professionalism, acting as a first responder to reported safety issues
•Help impacted users by investigating urgent incidents, enforcing safety standards, and taking decisive action to secure their accounts
•Report and document issues with all reporting parties using various platforms to continuously improve safety for all customers
•Categorize incidents and accidents with appropriate contact types to facilitate further investigation and resolution
•Maintain professional communication standards using business-level English and professional-level Keigo (polite Japanese) in both verbal and written interactions
Job Requirements:
•Native-level Japanese proficiency with professional Keigo (polite Japanese) competency in both speaking and writing
•Business-level English communication skills
•Minimum 6 months of customer support experience
•Strong emotional intelligence, emotional regulation, and communication skills
•Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
•Proficient with IT systems and devices including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, fast typing, and keyboard shortcuts
•Preferred: Experience handling sensitive cases, or background in crisis centers, law enforcement, or social work
