• Conduct operational audits across various departments to assess compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Review procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders (POs), approvals, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Audit supply chain, inventory, warehousing, and logistics activities to verify adherence to company policies and operational standards.
• Examine operational records, transactions, and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
• Evaluate whether departments are following approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal control requirements.
• Identify control weaknesses, non-compliance, irregularities, or operational risks, and document audit findings accurately.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports detailing observations, supporting evidence, and identified exceptions.
• Follow up on audit findings to verify that corrective actions have been implemented by the relevant departments.
• Maintain audit working papers and supporting documentation in accordance with internal audit standards.
• Liaise with department representatives to obtain information and clarify audit observations when required.
• Assist in developing annual audit plans, audit programs, and schedules.
• Ensure confidentiality of audit information and maintain professional independence throughout the audit process.
• Perform ad hoc audits, investigations, and special assignments as directed by management.
