Sales Engineer | Powder Machinery

Sales engineer supporting the department in the following roles:

Sales business development 

• Development of new clients within the food & chemical industries. 
• Conduct client visits to introduce company’s offerings as well as being technically inclined to collect potential enquiries. 
• Submit bi-weekly visit report. 
• Develop and execute sales plan to support company goals and achieving sales performance target. 
• Participate in discussion with team to explore solutions to clients for technical and commercial aspects. 
• Organize with support team to generate quotation & technical documents. 
• Cold call/ networking to increase contacts. 
• Keep up to date with market information. 
• Plant/ factory visits to check out client’s install base. 
• Understanding competition within assigned territory.

After sales service & Spare part 

• Relationship management with existing client. 
• To be the first point of contact for any after sales service requirement. 
• Support project during site work. 
• Feedback to the HQ on any aftermarket issues. 

Exhibition, Event i.e Any seminar (Hotel, Client’s factory, Office Lunch & Learn etc.) 

• Participate in any marketing activities. 
• Keep abreast of any marketing activities in Malaysia and visit as and when required. 
• Assist in setting up of any marketing activities.

Other ad hoc duties as per assigned by Management

Must have

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Mechatronic/ Industrial/ Process) or equivalent.  Fresh Graduates are very encouraged to apply. 
• Driving license. 
• Willing to travel throughout Malaysia
• With car.

Good to have

• 2 years engineering sales experience. 
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin
